"It's Oh So Quiet"
I went for a quick walk in the unseasonably warm mistiness of Lodge Farm after lunch. It was absolutely deserted and unbelievably quiet. No humans, no dogs, no deer, hardly any birds. I shot a lone fieldfare and a couple of crows.
Bjork's song as my title came into my head as I was walking. I was very interested to read when I got in that it is a cover - I thought it was pure zany Bjork. It was first recorded in 1951 by the American singer Betty Hutton. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=horRWtbAJoI&list=RDhorRWtbAJoI#t=30
