Streaky Sunset

The weather was a lovely contrast to yet another foggy day yesterday. Mrs BB and I decided on taking our friends dogs out for a long walk. We started about midday at Rudry Common and walked to The Travellers Rest Inn, Cardiff. After enjoying a cuppa we continued on the return journey through the ruins of 12th century Castell Morgraig along the ridge which divides Caerphilly from Cardiff. The views are normally staggering but it was misty despite the sun making a lovely winter appearance.

Just as we were a few hundred metres from where we had parked our car, and passing through my friend Dave's farm (Cefn Onn Farm), the sun was setting. The sky was streaks of white cloud which st it nicely against the sun. Dave's young pony stood looking at us, but didn't come closer as we had the dogs.

It's always good to see the sun going down and todays sunset was lovely.
