Our best boy

Today we made the saddest decision to say goodbye to our best friend Jake. Things were starting to change quite quickly for him and he was struggling on.

He had a lovely day filled with sausages, roast beef, walks and cuddles. He is a kind wee soul and spent much time cleaning the tears from our faces throughout the day. He cuddled in tight and gave our vet a lovely tail wag and happy paws when he arrived to be with him.

He was a faithful, loyal and deeply loving friend right until the very end and passed away peacefully at home at 3.30pm wIth his mum and dad holding him tight.

Please don't feel sad for us. Our hearts are heavy and broken but we had the love of the most incredible dog: gentle; kind; sweet and truly wonderful. For that we are eternally grateful.

Run on ahead Jake - be happy, healed and fill other people's lives with love.
