Havana

We arrived early evening yesterday. Got a taxi from the airport to the Telegrafo Hotel... which can't honour our booking since everyone's in town to cover Castro's demise. The mourning period will continue until Sunday at noon. So, meanwhile, no music in the streets, no dancing, no theatrical performances and no booze (although mojitos don't seem to come under the category of alcohol!). The whole city is busy but quiet with many of the famous venues closed.
