Here is another piece of Katoomba street art. This one is not far from the Street Art Walk  that I have been showing you. You can get a sense of scale by looking at the gas meters down left. This was a collaboration between many artists, most notably Birgitte Hansen (previously mentioned for the Butterfly Walk) and Vernon Treweeke (previously mentioned for the railway station murals). The dedication on the bottom right of the mural has been amplified so that you can read it. It is the sort of acknowledgement that I like to see on authorised street art so that it is clearly distinguished from graffiti.

The extra is a picture of the house (I shot recently) that Birgitte just sold with various artworks displayed across the front of it. Her house fronted the Great Western Highway and was about the first dwelling one saw as one approached Blackheath. The home is surprisingly well appointed and conventional inside (by all reports) but something tells me things will change on the outside soon. I figured it was now or never to photograph it as it had been
