The Horse Whisperer

Posting this on 17.12.2016 after Nogbad corrected my text on a horse posting I had made today.

Nogbad drove over from the UK to give us some help with the horses. After the 6 hour theoretical part he took us out for the practical.

He was riding Nero, the ex trotter race horse who had to be taken out of competition as he had exceeded the allowable maximum speed and despite intense doping controls, he was found to be clean - simply too dangerous to allow any normal person or professional jockey to ever mount him again. Nigel took up the challenge.

Angie is on Silvan and I form the rear guard on Asyr. We got home in one piece thanks to his relaxed style and calming words. Sadly we have never again been able to afford his fees and so we are back to the daily fight of getting back control of our animals.
