Racing Ahead

Energetic start to the day for Ethan and I with a 5k parkrun. He grumbled about doing it and kept saying on the way round that he didn't think he was doing well. It was still a respectable time though (34 mins 32 seconds) although for some reason we're slower when we run most of the way compared to when we do more of a run / walk combo!

Back home for a shower and a change before going up to Astro to watch their annual Christmas Sharings. Eden was supposed to be taking part but nerves got the better of her and she had to get taken home by Foreveryoung.

Then up to Dobbies for afternoon tea which was what Ethan had requested as a birthday treat. One of hubbies sisters joined us with her 3 kids too so was good for Ethan to see his cousins on that side of the family, as not seen them for ages.

Then hubbe and I took Ethan to the cinema to see the new Star Wars film - Rogue One. He adores Star Wars but didn't think this was as good as the other ones. He was also confused as to how Darth Vader could be in it " but he's dead Mummy"!
