Regensburg

Today we headed to Regensburg to meet a colleague who works at the University of Regensburg.  The centre of Regensburg is a UNESCO world heritage site. We spent the day wandering up and down the medieval streets and alleys.  The Christmas markets had a different feel to them from Nuremberg - lots of hand made artisan goods on sale.  The Christmas lights in the old streets were beautiful - a lovely time of year to visit!
We missed the Christmas Chill at Mozo's which is always a highlight of the year and for the first time ever, I missed the final of Strictly!
