Champagne corks and the kitchen disco

I spent last night on the sofa. This was due to insomnia which started at 2:00am and kept me awake until it was officially time to get up. It was not the best start to Saturday, especially given the busy day ahead.

Mr hazelh and I spent most of the day preparing for our Christmas drinks party. We made:

48 mince pies
54 crecy pies
42 baby quiches
3 plates of mini nut cutlets
4K of honey soy sausages

The first of our 54 guests arrived just after 6:00pm, and the last left about 9 hours later. As ever, it was a fun night of eating, drinking, chatting, laughing and singing, which culminated in dancing at the kitchen disco.

My blip is of 30+ Champagne corks that I saved over the course of the evening in a glass vase. They are placed next to the kitchen disco lights.
