Christmas Wedding

Last night I attended an evening wedding reception at Jesmond Dene House Hotel which is situated on the outskirts of Newcastle.  The house itself was built in 1822 and was designed by the famous architect John Dobson.  It was build for a local doctor and mayor of Newcastle, Thomas Emerson Headlam.

The house definitely lends itself to a Christmas wedding.  There is lots of wood paneling throughout and it was decorated beautifully.   This is the Christmas tree situated at the entrance.
