Wild

As we were returning from the Science Department Christmas Dinner in San Pedro, which was very enjoyable and a good chance for Jacqui to meet some of my colleagues, the lightning flashed and the wind blew.

The noise of the sea "boiling" on to the shore was louder than ever and was all we could hear during the night. And so it has remained today. At least the sun tried to peek out, but mostly it has thought better of it and stayed away and doubtless decided to take the rest of the day off.

Not a bad idea. Think I'll do the same!
