First day of workshop....

So I left home this morning at 6am to pick up one of the participants of the workshop and get across town before the morning rush hour!  We made it, and were there in good time to get set up for the workshop. I was expecting 11 people, but only 9 turned up!  

The participants are all teachers in our community schools.  Most have no early childhood training (only 2 have ECD certificates).  It was a really good first day - lots of discussion and group work!  I think I am starting to open their minds about how young children think and learn!!!
