Intensity!

This is a picture of intensity! Gollum with full focus on me in a very powerful heelwork session. When heelwork is like this, it is the best feeling in the world. 

We met with Helle to train dogs today. Hero is still limping a bit - but still improving, so I am not too worried. It did mean though, that I had to take it easy with him. He worked on a few relatively calm freestyle moves and then he did some Nose Work* searches to tire his brain without putting strain on his body. 

Gollum worked on his new Heelwork To Music routine and Biscuit searched for lavender in a Nose Work* Session. 

Helle and I had a wonderful day together - and with the dogs. It was just a 'feel-good-day' from beginning to end. Dog training, when it it's best.

*) In Nose Work, dogs learn to search for a specific odor or odors and find the source. In this case the odor is lavender oil. That is the first odor they will meet if they go to go to a competition.
