It's beginning to look a BIT like Christmas

I had ear-marked this morning for putting our Christmas decorations up, as we had no Skype session today.
Some old friends telephoned about 10:30 am to ask if it would be convenient for them to pop round in half an hour's time. Of course it was - they're lovely people and always welcome. We went like mad, but by the time they arrived,  all we had up was the tree, the tree lights, and one bauble. They said it looked "very bare".  (We've known them for getting on for 40 years, so they can say things like that.) They were right of course. 
After they left (nearly 2 pm) we had a massive surge of effort. It's now almost finished - not quite.
