War of the Worlds...

This sunset reminded me of Jeff Wayne's classic 1978 album (of which I still have the vinyl) as I'm sure somewhere Richard Burton mentions the red sky! 
A morning of nothingness followed by an afternoon of intense cleaning and realising that I really should do it far more often - but with a spaniel and a wood burner plus a visiting Flash with J what hope is there? Principally because my son and possibly his partner and their daughter may arrive on me on Thursday briefly but I'm out most of the early part of the week and so won't be able to do much in the way of tidying/cleaning.
