A Relaxing Sunday Morning........

The girls and I went for a relaxing, fun walk at the Vets Park this am.  We just sauntered along, sniffing everything and zig zagging all around.  We did cross what used to be the stream from reclaimed water in the park.  The extra shows what used to be a pond/brook that was 16-20" deep.  It has been dry for so long that the bottom is now covered with grass.  I saw a juvenile Heron walking around.  It probably hatched out this spring in the wet area, but the water is gone, and so are all the little fish it used to feed on.  That also is in the extra, though it's not a clear pic.
   As the girls and I went up a hill, we saw this girl just hanging out on the stone, playing with her phone having a good ole time.  It was such a warm morning and humid, nobody was interested in exercising very much.
