The View over The Old Lady

I've not posted here for a while but I couldn't let this go.
It was the last 3pm Kick Off until the beginning of February and it will be the last time we will have an unobscured view over the main stand. The next time we turn up for a ‘daylight’ game there will be a huge supporting truss located between the floodlight supports at either end of the main stand. This will be taking the weight of the new stand roof for the new stand which should be completed in 8/9 months. This view will not be lost forever as the new stand will have a restaurant built on the top floor looking over the city with a glass wall to give an uninterrupted view over to the Castle and the rest of the city. There will probably not be another eating spot with such an iconic or spectacular view. For those who know where we sit I had to walk up another 10 or so rows to get the piccie.
There is also another iconic element missing from this view, any guesses?
Oh and there was a game of football to watch. The classic ‘Game of Two Halves’ could have been coined for this game. The first was pretty much as we have seen this season, nothing much to get worked up about but the second was a huge unreconstructed pile of pants due to one substitution enough said. Gggrrr……………
Mr Cathro’s learning curve will be short, steep and brutal in terms of player selection I hope!
