The early evening paddle

After another hot and busy day, a well earned meal at a canal side pub was most welcome.
The weather held nicely during the day despite the magnificent cloud formations. This continued into the evening with a nice breeze to keep the heat and any insects down.
I was slightly envious of these guys having a paddle along the calm waters of the canal. Over the next few minutes they were joined by more "canoeist / kayakers?" and by a lady who had followed them on the towpath. My envy quickly dissipated as she appeared to be a "coach" and proceeded to beast them back from whence they came.... all for their own good of course.
