Alcohol time line

A wall in a pub l happened to visit was covered by an "alcohol time line". I found this box for 1748 in London quite impressive. I am going down into town for a celebratory supper at FISH in Borough Market on Friday evening; l have a feeling that the same kind of ratios will still be evident.
