Turville
Lovely afternoon country walk, starting with a riverside picnic at Remenham, watching cows drinking in the Thames, the dog splashing in the shallows and enjoying the peace. We then parked at Skirmett and walked to Turville, the lovely village used in the Vicar of Dibley.
I took this photo, partly because it is such a gorgeous place, but a cat had been asleep on the grass, totally oblivious to the dog. It had then plonked itself on my daughter's feet, at which, the dog went ballistic.
Time for a cuppa at Hambleden on the way back, lovely. Sadly, having constructed the whole afternoon for a picturesque dog walk, she managed to hurt her leg in the car and limped pathetically, needing to be carried.
