Getting the gang back together

We'll gloss over the early part of the day: the omg early start, the long, dark, foggy drive to Bordeaux (include a close shave with a lane-wandering bus, and having to make TallGirl talk nonsense at me to keep me alert), the bumpy flight (TallGirl was so frightened she grabbed her brother' hand), filling in time until Mr B's flight arrived, and finally, blissfully collapsing into bed for a nap.

Later, off to our old village to meet up with this bunch of reprobates (and others who had to leave earlier), who all came out in the rain to say hello. A fine evening of chat. CarbBoy spent the evening on PS4 with his pal, and TallGirl got caught up with a couple of her friends. So a fine night for all of us. Meanwhile Mr B was out with old school friends.
