Sunrise
10.00am and the sun had not really even risen properly. The tower is Hopetoun Monument on Byres Hill, which I think I have blipped before. This time taken from a wee road near Myreton Motor Museum. The monument is one of the prominent landscape features of East Lothian (along with Berwick Law and Traprain Law). You can walk up the circular very worn stone staircase inside it for tremendous views from the top. But you need to take a torch as it is pitch black.
