When I was a little boy, I used to love watching musicals with Fred Astaire in them on TV at Christmas so this is my link  for today.
I never aspired to be the next Fred.
To be honest, I was more like Ginger Rogers - in hair colour you understand!
I rather like the idea of Christmas Day being on a Sunday for a number of reasons including the fact that there is a week to build up to it.
Perhaps it should always be on a Sunday like Easter Day but I guess this could pose problems with New Year's Day.
