Poor pup

A neighbour has a very boisterous and unruly dog that flattened poor Kojo last night when we bumped in to them out walking. This morning was straight off to the vet for X-rays on a poorly paw. She has a fracture and is hopping around in a very sad to see way. She has, however, been wonderful. No whining. No snapping at the vet. Just sucked it all up. Three weeks of being very careful ahead. How do we explain that to a four and a half month old pup? I see chaos ahead. But thank goodness she'll be OK. Nothing sadder than a sick puppy.
