Coos

Up early and headed west with pal for a wee hill day.

Arrived just as light appearing at lochgoilhead, first time I had been there.

First hill of the day cnoc coinnich the new Corbett so it was another completing day. A fine walk up through the trees on the cowal way. The cloud came down when we bit the open hillside. A stroll to the small cairn.

Back down to the car park and over to the other side of the Glen for a couple of 2 thousand footers. Classic rough Argyll hills of steep craggy and vegetative slopes.

First hill shrouded in mist as we picked our way up through the crags, cleared as we headed north along the ridge.

A contour round a bump which had a 1949 plane crash site with big bits lying around in which all died at this site.

Final climb to the trig point and down.

Chose a direct route to forest down a tussocky , wet steep corrie.

Waded through bogs of the forest road and back to the car. Thanks George for a good day out.

Home, shower and round to a neighbours for food and chat.
