Luis

There's a little Italian deli and grocery store in the old meat-packing district of D.C. It's tucked away in one of the grungy looking series of warehouses. It's old-fashioned chockfull of all things Italian and 'the' place to go for authentic wares and the best ever Italian hoagies. 

Luis, featured here, started working in the store when it opened, some 40+ years ago. The blue-collar Italian owners are like his second family. He proudly shows off pix of his kids mingling with theirs at various outings, but especially baseball: they are all huge fans of the sport. Does he want to stop working soon? No way! He's having the time of his life :)
