Christmas selfie

Christmas works do at Dunston Hall.  We got most of the way there, and I realised I had not brought a camera.  I did have my phone, but there is a problem with the camera on my phone - only the "selfie" bit works.  And I'm not very good at taking selfies - find it difficult to move the phone in the right direction.

So I offer a rather blurry selfie as my blip for the day.

I'm afraid we were disappointed with the meal - very "school dinner", brought round all plated up.  And they asked in advance about special diets, but then it was 10 or 15 minutes after the rest of us were served before they produced the veggie option for W.  And later in the meal, they cleared away W's glass whilst it still contained some wine - only a small amount, admittedly, but still..........

The waiter was apologetic, and brought W a clean glass - but it did not contain any wine - it seemed to me that he should have at least offered a free glass of wine!
