Windmill Hill, Waddesdon

Todays outing was to Waddesdon Manor which is only 40 mins drive from where I live but again we had never been. Its Rothchild's place and I liked the grounds but hated the over ostentatious Louis XV style house-not my taste at all!

I agonised again over the Blip. This was taken on Windmill Hill within the estate grounds where they have built some kind of conference facilities with some amazing outdoor sculptures and incredible views.

Funnily enough the photographic experience turned out to be all about symmetry and reflection. I guess you would expect to find symmetry in a stately home but there were also various reflective sculptures which were fun to play around with -see here
