The Committee

Today we celebrated the Friends of Belair National Park 31st Birthday, which also falls on the same day the Park was proclaimed 125 years ago.

We all had a wonderful time.

There was a total fire ban proclaimed, and we would normally cancel under such circumstances.  but we knew that a cool change was due through late in the afternoon, so we decided to go ahead anyway.  I'm so glad we did, because it was a delightfully cool evening after a nasty hot afternoon.

The current committee is pictured above.  We all stand for reelection at the AGM in February.  We have January off, except for a committee meeting.
