Boot Girls
Slim pickings today, due to the rain and the attractions of sitting in coffee shops Tweeting, etc.
These two girls were sitting outside the City Hall, along with quite a few other tribes of young people. I'm not "down with the kidz" enough to know if they're punk, Goth, Emo, or who knows? They were happy enough to be photographed though. Nice kids.
Today's other shot is of part of a very old department store, Robinson & Cleaver's, which was converted some years ago to new use. I liked the way the temporary (!) sunlight reflected in the mirrored windows, and I wondered what Mr Robinson or Mr Cleaver might have thought of the changes. The store traded from 1874 until 1984.
