Sudeley Castle

It was the festival of lights at Sudeley Castle tonight (and for a few more nights). Clear skies, so it was very cold and I was a little underwhelmed. It's a tricky one, we see so much on line these days of buildings with amazing images projected onto them, Vivid in Australia etc that I think I expected more than the buildings with coloured lights pointed at them. The nicest bit was the Queen's garden with fairy lights and I think Robin will blip that so I won't. I definitely would have liked more fairy lights. We did enjoy the music as we went around, Fanfare for the Common Man, Tubular Bells amongst others. I am glad I have seen it but at the end of the day I think I prefer Sudeley (which is impressive) in sunlight!
