The Mansion

I have spent another day in Dewsbury decommissioning the museum building which is located at Crow Nest Park. 

The council closed the museum in October this year. Following a strong community response, "The Friends of Dewsbury Park Mansion" are now working towards acquiring the building under the community asset transfer process.

The park looked much better in the bright sunshine today, but it was so sad to see the museum staff leave the building for what might be the last time today.
