Local sunset

Another beautiful sunset with almost clear sky suggests a cold night in store.
Your very kind comments and good wishes are much appreciated, although I haven't been able to reply to each one individually and I apologise for that.
Baby update:  We went to see him this evening and were there when he had a transfusion and his ventilation was reduced and he was breathing on his own so that is a good sign.   More tests overnight.  The operation itself was successful but it is going to be a very long haul.  (Two extra pictures.)  Mummy and Daddy have been told his hospital stay may be for weeks, if not months.  They are coping remarkably well.  I will only update when there is some significant change so for the time being "no news is good news"!
