Snoozing Pintail

B. and I intended to carry out our usual walk around Pensthorpe, but we were a bit short of time and some areas of the reserve were closed to the public due to the bird flu precautions dictated by Defra.  So, the most sensible course of action was to head for the cafe for a slice of a very delicious carrot cake and a pot of tea!  We did pop out for a short while however and managed to spot this rather handsome pintail having a snooze.
