Solstice Sunrisers

Today we celebrated Solstice Sunrise (the name of the beer the boys recently brewed) at sunrise on the Winter solstice - it was cold, wet and windy so we didn't hang about too long before we all headed back to a neighbour's for a slap up breakfast, more beer & whisky and a toast to the actual Solstice at 10.44am.

I didn't have any booze but it was a lovely morning. The sun also did appear briefly albeit after the Solstice itself. The 1st day of winter and the days will start to get longer.
