If you've ever wondered.....

.....what ducks do in the winter, now you know! They cluster in big groups around open water, take an occasional swim, and quack an awful lot, especially when approached by humans! Haha! 
I found the weather to be a real challenge today, photography-wise, as the light is nonexistent; the sky is completely gray & overcast, so everything else looked gray too, esp. the water! I wasn't very happy with any of them, but went with this one. Hopefully the sun will be back soon.
I wanted to thank everyone for their comments, stars and hearts for my frozen waterfall picture, which has been on page one of the popular page for a couple of days--really exciting for me because that's such a rarity for one of my pictures!  :))
