Yule Bird

I've been cooking all day, assisted by Jazzy dog. She helpfully scoffed the portion of skin from the ham that I gave her and then stole that which I put out for Robin Redbreast. I gave her some pastry scraps and she seemed to understand that those on a tin plate in the garden were not for her. I got some nice pics of the robin tucking in.

Awful light for bird togging again today. Shame as I got Kes in the ash tree and a beautiful greenfinch against the Cupressus. The bullfinches have stuck around, I hear them but often can't pinpoint where they are. I got sort of lucky today - one in a elderberry bush. I've converted it to mono as the colour was so poor.
