This one goes out to all the peoples that I won't be with over the holidays. First time in my life that I am not at home with my parents on Christmas Eve, and that I won't be dressing up tomorrow to have a long breakfast followed by presents.

At the end of this year I will have spent only about 4 months being in the Netherlands. 6 were spent in the US, and 2 here in Japan. It's all good for me cos I get to do new and cool things but I imagine it must be a little weird for my folks, sisters, and, of course, sy. This way they will see a surprise me today.

I took this while I was testing out the lighting. The focus i off but the expression is real as I was in mid conversation, and that's why I like it.
