Annual Gingerbreads

The annual ritual of the gingerbreads was performed today. Actually for the first time I intended to make a house but my mixture turned out to be too soft and it rose and spread too much so I abandoned the spoiled pieces and continued with making gingerbread men and the usual trees and stars (some are intended to be three-dimensional). There are three men missing from the photo as they had been already given away.

For my next attempt at a gingerbread house I shall follow the instructions given by a young member of our church, as demonstrated on You Tube.
