Countdown

Braved the Christmas queue at the Dartford crossing today on a trip to Warley in Essex. The reason was a surprise farewell gathering honouring the lovely Bob, a very popular member of the Ford press office team. The turnout of old chums and fellow motoring writers spoke volumes about how well-regarded he is. He'll be much missed.

On the way home I took a quick diversion to pop in here, Bluewater. The retail park was manic with Christmas shoppers. I needed to buy a special present, and mission accomplished.
