on my amaryllis plant

i had to giggle today - as i passed by this plant because this new shoot - has grown so tall it has surpassed the other flower blooms - on the plant, as if to say - 'lookit me, here i am getting ready to open' - i mean goodnes - it's so tall, it's leaning and i've had to brace it - to keep it from falling over due to its weight - do you suppose flowers have identity issues when there are still other blossoms remaining - on the plant?

it's just too funny and in these difficult days as i struggle - with my own issues of grief & loss with the approaching holiday - trying, as well, to support my nieces as they too - navigate through this 1st christmas without their mama - it was good to have a moment of silliness - a touch of lightheartedness to ease the pressure and help make it more of...
