Is This REALLY Necessary?

Hello Blipfriends!
Dolly reporting again today!

It's a good thing that Mum has me to help with the blips because she's been getting behind again! Something to do with Christmas - last minute shopping, wrapping presents, having a few guests! Today we had friends who were passing by on their way back to London, so they stopped for a light lunch. I think they came to see ME, really! I had already met one of them, but he wanted to introduce me to his partner. Nothing to do with Mum after all! It was helpful to have her here to make the lunch, of course!

It rained a lot today but after our friends left Mum realised it had stopped so she said "Let's go for a quick walk!" Really, Mum? It's cold and grey and the grass is REALLY wet! "It can be a short one, Dolly!" Yeah, right! Until we met another dog walker and he and Mum got into lengthy conversation about retirement, bike riding across America and camper vans - and before I knew it we were doing a second loop around the park! Grrr!

Mum made it up to me - after a bit more present wrapping we treated ourselves to watching a Christmas movie. And then off to bed REALLY early! Miracles DO happen!
