The Purpose of Sunflowers ...

... is clearly to feed a multitude of these lovely black capped tits. However they do not like to be photographed when eating, this is the best I could do after clicking about 100 images. However, as the tits are determined to eat all the sunflower seeds before winter, I shall try to provide you with a better image one of these days. The neighbours are on holiday and the sunflowers are between our 2 gardens so I can go into theirs at the moment for more stealth tactics!
