Caribbean Princess.

Today we had another of our Cheerful Chesters trips. Forty of us boarded a luxury bus and travelled to The North Kessock Hotel 3 miles outside Inverness and had a lovely High Tea. I had Steak and Ale pie with all the trimmings and Wee Wife had suculent Pork Chop with Mustard Mash and too much veg for her to finish so I rekon I had my 7 a day. this was followed by tea/coffee and real home baking. Fair stappit we all staggered back on to the bus and headed of to Cromarty. This was to view The Caribbean Princess, a cruise liner of 113,000 tons and carrying 3,080 passengers leave Invergordon and head for Edinburgh as part of a British Isles cruise. I took several shots of Her coming through the firth but the one posted shows her passing the Eastern Souter (Headland) - there is another on the West side of the entrance to the firth and jointly they are called The Cromarty Souters.
Got home at (9.10pm and straight on to the laptop to post this.) A most enjoyable afternoon and evening - good food, good company AND the rain stayed off.
Have a look large.
