Not a great home debut for Brentford's number five Tony Craig, shown here just after scoring an own goal. Craig was also at fault for the first goal conceded with a sloppy ball across his own area. Left back Scott Barron's home debut performance was also noticeably poor, maybe we were spoilt by Jake Bidwell last season.

Debutant Paul Hayes could have covered himself in glory a few moments after coming on as a second half sub, but missed a penalty that would have put the Bees 2-1 up and in the driving seat, then Yeovil came back to win the match3-1.

Room for improvement.
