a walk in the woods

Coffee and cake in the cafe at Whinlatter Forest Visitor Centre and then a few miles of walking to make me feel less guilty. 

I 'd managed to leave the Sony on the kitchen table but fortunately the Olympus Tough lives in the bottom of my rucksack and still had some battery power. 

Rather dark amongst the trees so I had to use a slow shutter speed. The results were interesting and I'm tagging this for Abstract Thursday. There's an extra of some Christmas Trees.
