Children in church

followed by the annual lunch club Christmas meal.

Another wild, wet day and my walk to church was shortened when a car stopped to offer a lift, it was sensible to get out of the rain. We were heading for the children's carol service with the church filled with parents, grandparents and friends. And later many of those attending church now sat down to lunch in the local hotel where Father Christmas handed out a present to each of us. And after the meal the children made another appearance to sing songs from their play last Monday and the carol service this morning. Just wonderful. What a busy week for them.

I called into see a friend between the two events - she was out - and along the way was pleased to see a coloured cover on this horse to brighten a winters day.
