Waxwing!

Wow! What a fabulous few hours I had today in the middle of a very urban bit of Halifax. Businesses, houses, cars, workmen, overflowing rubbish and a small haven for nature in the form of a few trees with berries at the side of a church. 60 or so waxwings there for about 4 hours trilling away and feeding but also fieldfare, redwing, mistle thrush, starlings and so on... amazing. I filled my memory card and started the next one. A fabulous, fabulous experience!
