I popped up to the reservoirs this afternoon. It's been a lovely day but the best part of it was earlier. The sky looked good in certain directions but two of the reservoirs seemed to be a bit short of water to the extent of having grass growing in the bottom. There seems to be a lot of work going on rather than a lack of water generally. I dunno, you can't please some photographers. One day I'm complaining about getting wet, the next I'm complaining that the reservoirs are too dry!
The wind was blowing the clouds a bit and I took some long exposures but I prefer the one with the clouds more static. I've put a long exposure up as an extra for your comparison.
On my way through Hennock, the small village below the reservoirs which has always been a bit clogged, I noticed there was a new car park. The sign says, "just 30 cow lengths away".
