Festive smiles!

Trying out some bokeh.  Years ago I bought a Bokeh Masters Kit, but I haven't used it much so I thought I'd have a go!  The main shot is using small lights, 50% or so cropped, and the extra is using the main lights, hardly cropped.  Both hand held.  (Homework for Emma Davies course: a year with my camera - new course starting in January!)  Having just looked at Ingeborg I have to try it with an object in front!!

A rather food oriented day!  Ro's mother would have been 102 today and every year they would arrive at our home with a huge curry that she had made.  We had a double celebration today:  the Toby at lunchtime and for tonight, I made a curry in my slow-cooker according to the instructions on a jar of Madras curry paste and it was delicious!  Little Missy and Mum and Dad came too!  I found a little white bear decoration with her name on it and had put it on one of the 'branches' of our tree and we had a bear hunt to find it!!  It will be in a different place tomorrow!!
